Our Principal
Sam is a senior litigator with an impressive range of experience, a specialist in managing complex criminal and commercial matters. Sam has a passion for criminal law; many of our clients have had the benefits of his compassionate and fierce advocacy in their cause.
Sam is an admitted lawyer in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia and regularly appears in various jurisdictions including the Local Court, the District Court and the Supreme Court. Sam also has experience appearing in the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal (NCAT).
Sam often appears and advocates in bail applications (including show cause bail), traffic offences, sentencing, mental health (section 14 applications), defended hearings and jury trials and has a wide range of experience in drug offences, assault offences (including sexual assault), fraud offences, apprehended violence orders (AVO’s and ADVO’s), firearms and weapons offences, robbery offences and appeals.
His commercial experience includes successfully representing clients in complex litigation matters involving and obtaining Injunctions (Interlocutory applications) Anton Piller orders and Mareva (freezing) orders.
Sam also frequently appears in Sports Tribunals and Judiciaries, most notably in the New South Wales Rugby League Judiciary and National Rugby League Judiciary.
Prior to coming to the Law, Sam had experience working in the Information & Technology sector where he spent over 10 years developing his commercial skills. He worked for some of Australia’s leading IT companies in that time.
Outside of the Law, Sam is an accredited rugby league Coach having coached with the Canterbury Bulldogs and Sydney Roosters. For the last 10 years, he has focused predominately on Women’s rugby league and is a passionate advocate of the Women’s game and its growth.

More serious complex matters particularly, indictable or serious indictable offences, committed for trial or sentence to the NSW District Court or the NSW Supreme Court will require considered costs assessments depending on the level of work involved and the particulars of the case.
The above fees are solicitor fees only and should you request or require Counsel, Barrister fees will be provided to you upfront as a separate fee/disbursement .
